Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Shop & Field Service)

About the Role

We’re not just looking for someone to turn wrenches — we’re looking for a skilled problem-solver who takes real pride in keeping our fleet reliable. You’ll get the perfect mix of shop work and field autonomy, handling a wide variety of equipment: aerial lifts, telehandlers, skid steers, mini excavators, and more. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the freedom to tackle interesting challenges while representing our company with integrity.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on light- to heavy-duty rental equipment

Perform preventative maintenance to keep machines safe and maximize uptime for our customers

Provide on-site field service and emergency repairs at job sites across the region

Use your welding and fabrication skills to fix machines, buckets, and attachments

Work closely with our small team — your input on shop processes and equipment health is genuinely valued

Who We’re Looking For

Experience is important, but the right attitude and work ethic are what really make someone stand out here. We’re excited about candidates who:

Have 2–3+ years of professional experience repairing heavy equipment, hydraulics, diesel engines, trucks, and trailers (more experienced applicants will be compensated accordingly)

Bring strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and basic computer diagnostics

Are reliable, punctual, and committed to finishing what they start

Put the customer first and take pride in representing our family business

Hold a valid driver’s license (a CDL Class A or B is a big plus)
