Role Description

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
• Prepare menu items efficiently while maintaining high-quality food safety practices.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.
• Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.

Qualifications

• 2 years previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, Culinary school education is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and expand culinary knowledge.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and schedules as needed within the kitchen setting.
