Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Mechanical)

Location: Walworth, WI

Schedule: 2nd Shift -- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (initial training on 1st shift)

Key Requirements (Must-Have)

• Strong experience in both electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance
• Must provide and maintain your own tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

About the Role

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting overall plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial equipment using electrical and mechanical skillsets
• Perform corrective maintenance during production to minimize downtime
• Diagnose issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems
• Communicate equipment malfunctions and support timely resolution
• Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout protocols
• Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to ensure efficiency
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the facility
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, or automated systems is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible hours as needed

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
• Hands-on role requiring physical activity, including standing, lifting, and working around equipment
