Location: Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV | Remote / Field-Based
Salary: $82,000–$108,000
Travel: Up to 75%

POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead field operations, personnel, equipment, and technology deployments across multiple project sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a geographically dispersed team of Field Technology Specialists responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting communications and security technology systems.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong field leadership and is comfortable managing people, projects, equipment, budgets, and resources across a large territory.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead and manage Field Technology Specialists throughout the assigned region.
• Oversee field installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technology deployments.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications .
• Manage personnel, vehicles, trailers, inventory, tools, and field equipment.
• Prioritize work assignments and monitor team performance and utilization.
• Forecast staffing, equipment, and resource needs based on project demand.
• Coordinate resource sharing and surge support across multiple regions.
• Conduct project estimates, cost analyses, and operational risk assessments.
• Coordinate rapid response to critical maintenance and field issues.
• Partner with clients, Project Managers, and internal teams to maintain strong customer satisfaction.
• Hire, train, coach, supervise, and evaluate field personnel.
• Identify opportunities to improve field processes, efficiency, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Experience leading field operations and geographically dispersed employees .
• At least 1 year of first-line supervisory experience .
• Strong technical background in communications, security technology, electronics, or electrical troubleshooting .
• Knowledge of data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, surveillance technology, and basic electronics .
• Strong leadership, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and field resources simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret technical, business, and governmental documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance .
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% .
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Four years of relevant experience in advanced communications, security technologies, electronics, or electrical troubleshooting may substitute for a degree.
• PMP certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• CCTV and video surveillance systems.
• Access control systems.

• Fiber-optic infrastructure.
• Communications and network technology.
• Large-scale technology deployments across multiple locations.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to travel up to 75% to project and customer locations.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 40 feet .
• Ability to work from ladders, bucket trucks, and scissor lifts.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds .
• Comfortable working in varying field and project-site environments.
