LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant to work for a great company in the Jericho, Long Island area.

This is in Office Daily. Full Time Days. Great family knit environment. Start Immediately!!

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare journal entries and participate in the month-end closings
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Weekly monitoring of ecommerce platforms to ensure accurate accounting of ecommerce transactions
• Monthly sales tax reporting and other quarterly compliance requirements
• Assist with the preparation of 10-Q and 10-K financial support schedules
• Review 10-Q and 10-K for accuracy including reconciling to financial support schedules
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audit requirements
• Assist external auditors with requests/questions
• Support initiatives with Finance team to drive process improvements and ensure accurate accounting
• Assist with additional analysis, tasks and special projects as needed

Qualifications Include:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting along with 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• High level of organization and follow up skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across the organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This role pays $38-40 dollars per hour. There is a chance of it going temp to perm. Perm Salary 80-85K (depending on experience)
