Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Manage general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely delivery of required documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
