We are looking for a Corporate Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Team in Spokane, WA, Evansville, IN or Franklin, TN and support all of the Kaiser Aluminum plants in North America! The Corporate Sr. Reliability Engineer is responsible for developing and executing Best in Class practices, processes, and programs related to maintaining and improving the reliability of the company’s manufacturing assets. Additionally, they provide technical expertise and advisory support for facility engineering and maintenance staff as required.

Benefits:

  • Salary range $165,000 to $185,000 depending on experience

What you will work on:

  • Provide support for the development and improvement of asset management plans in support of the company’s asset management strategy
  • Support company equipment related risk analysis and reduction activities
  • Participate in asset life cycle costing and improvement initiatives
  • Develop Best in Class reliability processes and tools for deployment at company facilities
  • Lead reliability projects as assigned
  • Interface with facility teams to solve reliability issues and reduce equipment related business risk
  • Mentor and help develop facility maintenance and reliability staff
  • Provide technical and reliability subject matter expertise for facility support in as needed
  • Support the development of “Special Services” for critical reliability and safety processes (alignment, vibration, combustion, etc.)
  • Support design for reliability (DFR) reviews of new equipment installations.
  • Travel required approximately 50% of the time to support the above activities.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate technical field.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certification as a Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred but not required
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in reliability engineering and related processes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading reliability programs across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams consisting of customers, vendors, and technical architects and engineers.
  • Experience in a heavy industrial or process environment preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within an organization.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Experience leading and developing top performing teams.

  • Asset Management expertise/certification
  • Maintenance Leadership expertise/certification
  • Six Sigma training
