Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform feature, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, API, and integration testing for Resware enhancements and updates.
  • Validate v10 product changes and safeguard application functionality and user experience.
  • Assess testing risks, prioritize efforts based on business impact, and anticipate effects across interconnected systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define concrete, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Identify minimum viable testing needed for release confidence and support a CI/CD culture.
  • Document and advocate for defects, including their impact on users and appropriate backlog prioritization.
  • Identify repetitive manual tasks suitable for future automation and create clear test cases for automation engineers.
  • Improve QA processes and workflows and contribute to blameless post-mortems.

Requirements

  • One to three years of Quality Assurance experience in the software industry is required.
  • Prior experience in real estate and title services, especially title closings, is preferred.
  • At least five years of hands-on Resware user experience is a plus.
  • One to three years of hands-on Resware administrator experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer technical skills are highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, DevOps practices, and writing and securing test cases is desirable but not required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time-management, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to identify problems, find solutions, and recommend obvious and alternative solutions is required.
  • Self-direction, adaptability, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for exploring and testing new technologies are valued.
