J&P Electrical Company is hiring Shop Technicians for our Eastpointe location. We are an industrial electrical salvage and restoration company specializing in reconditioning new and used industrial electrical equipment.
Our technicians refurbish industrial electrical equipment through tasks such as lifting, painting, sanding, and general labor. We are seeking technicians who can effectively oversee equipment functionality and ensure systems remain in optimal operating condition. This position includes comprehensive training in all aspects of the reconditioning process, including assembly and testing.
The ideal candidate will be prompt, dependable, and have reliable transportation. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. We offer competitive starting pay, opportunities for overtime, and medical and dental insurance. There is excellent potential for advancement within the company, and we will train the right candidate.

· Own a reliable vehicle
· Have a cell phone
· Be able to lift 50 lbs regularly
· Pass a background check
Daily Tasks Include :
· Sanding and sandblasting
· Painting
· Preparing equipment for reconditioning
· Managing and maintaining tools and equipment
· General shop labor
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Starting Pay: $19 per hour
Benefits: Medical and dental insurance available after 90 days of employment
